166 Cutting, cropping, and erasing
To cut through selected items on multiple layers, ensure that the Edit All
Layers button, on the Layers tab, is selected. (See Working with layers in online
Help .)
2. On the Standard toolbar, click the Scissors tool.
3. On the Scissors context toolbar, select a scissor type from the drop-
down list.
4. Optional:
To adjust the regularity of the freeform cutting line, adjust the
Smoothness setting. To do this, click the up and down arrows,
or click the right arrow and drag the slider.
To adjust the
length of each
unit of the
cutting edge,
change the
Wavelength
setting.
