34 Getting started

You can now move, resize, rotate, and delete these letters individually, or you

can work with them as a group by first clicking the

Group button. (See

Grouping items on p. 256.)

Applying drop shadows and other effects

To add effects to your project:

1. On the Pages context toolbar, click Add items from Digikits.

The Digikit Browser dialog opens.

2. Select the Digikit from which you want to add effects.

3. Scroll to the Effects category and click on an effect to add it to the

Digikit category of the Effects tab.

4. (Optional) Click

Back to all Digikits to add effects from other

Digikits.

5. When you've finished selecting effects, click Done.

To apply an effect to a selected item:

1. Select the item to which you want to add a drop shadow or other

effect.
